Pollster Ann Selzer says she is reviewing her presidential poll of Iowa voters, which proved to be "a big miss" ahead of Election Day.Selzer wrote an op-ed that the Des Moines Register published on Thursday. In it, she wrote Selzer & Company, which has long conducted the Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll, "used the same method as the final poll this year to show a healthy Trump lead in both 2020 and 2016."The poll in question this year showed that Democrat Kamala Harris was ahead of Republican Donald Trump by 3 percentage points in Iowa. Trump actually won Iowa by a historic margin on his way to winning a second presidential term."The team at Selzer & Company has begun a review to raise any plausible question of what happened between Thursday night the previous week, when we finished interviewing, and when the votes were tallied on Tuesday night.
