Jovahn Mathis was 15 at the time of Galloway-Menke's death and had been charged with murder in juvenile court. As part of the deal to move the case to adult court, Mathis will plead guilty to multiple charges including voluntary manslaughter. He'll be sentenced as a youthful offender, meaning he won't be formally sentenced until he's 18. A plea hearing has not been set, but Mathis is expected to be arraigned on the charges on April 4th.
