Campbell met with the media Monday to talk about Purdy, who the 49ers picked with the final selection in the 2022 NFL draft. He said he's proud of what he's seen out of his former quarterback, who's been far from irrelevant. "You're just really proud of obviously what he accomplished during his time here," he said, "and to ... watch that just continue to elevate through his professional career so far. "I think it's enjoyable to watch the national narrative on Brock as this has occurred over the course of the last year and a half."WATCH: ISU coach Matt Campbell will be at Super Bowl 58 to root on Brock PurdyCampbell has a 53-48 record in eight seasons at Iowa State.
