Pathology of Peripheral Nerve is a volume from the series Major Problems in Pathology. The authors have provided a textbook that is particularly suited to general and surgical pathologists, but others interested in the study of peripheral nerve disorders will find this a very useful reference work. The book is well organized. There is a logical sequence of chapters, from a presentation of normal structure and artifacts, through techniques used to study nerve and a description of the basic pathologic processes, to presentation of the various disorders. The final chapters provide important information on technical procedures, clinical aspects, and a brief, but relevant, description of how to evaluate a nerve biopsy specimen.
