In Reply Drs Yi and Trinh-Shevrin comment on the lack of data on AANHPI adults in our study of long-term trends in the incidence and prevalence of diagnosed diabetes. We reported results separately for demographic subpopulations for which sample sizes were sufficient to estimate both the prevalence and incidence of diagnosed diabetes. Although we reported estimates for non-Hispanic white, black, and Hispanic populations, we were not able to report results for American Indian, Alaska Native, or AANHPI populations because sample sizes were insufficient given the relative infrequency of incident cases (ie, <10 per 1000 population).
