Vivek Ramaswamy uses CNN town hall to seek support from Iowa caucusgoers
Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy spoke with Iowa voters Wednesday night at Grand View University in Des Moines during a CNN town hall.
Both decided and undecided voters asked Ramaswamy questions during the town hall, which was hosted by CNN anchor and moderator Abby Phillip.

Phillip asked several questions, but really allowed the audience to direct most of the conversation with their own questions. Ramaswamy worked to relate with Iowans through his answers during Wednesday’s town hall, which comes three days after the Des Moines Register/NBC/Mediacom Iowa Poll was released. It shows Ramaswamy in fourth place among candidates who likely Republican caucusgoers would choose as their first choice for president.
“I think that’s something that I’ve found amongst Iowans: they value people who work hard because many of you do work hard,” said Ramaswamy. “There’s a culture of farmers; a culture of people who are business builders across the state and I think that’s something that we would do well to make a national value in this country again.”
Ramaswamy will remain in Iowa through the rest of this week, with stops in different communities. It's part of his plan to visit all of Iowa's 99 counties twice before the caucuses.
