Hotels in Central Park, Chicago, Las Vegas, Soho and more were affected by the incident

Fourteen Trump Hotel properties were hit by a data breach from August 2016 to March 2017, including locations in Central Park, Chicago, Las Vegas and Soho. The incident exposed guests' cardholder names, account numbers, payment card expiration dates and possibly security codes. Some victims' email addresses, phone numbers and physical addresses were also compromised. The attack is part of the Sabre Hospitality Solutions data breach, which affected 11 Hard Rock Hotel & Casino locations during the same time frame. Luxury hotel chain Loews also reportedly fell victim to the breach. The New York City-based company runs 24 sites in the U.S. and Canada, but it's unclear which locations were affected."This incident occurred on the systems of Sabre Hospitality Solutions, a service provider used by Trump Hotels," the hotel chain said in a statement. "Sabre notified us on June 5, 2017 that an unauthorized party gained access to account credentials that permitted access to payment card data and certain reservation information for some of our hotel reservations processed through Sabre’s CRS."Trump Hotels told guests to closely monitor their financial statements."We recommend that affected individuals remain vigilant for incidents of fraud and identity theft by regularly reviewing account statements and monitoring free credit reports for any unauthorized activity," the company said.More information on the incident can be found here.
