Have you ever bought something only to find out you could have paid less elsewhere? Here are some retailers Rossen Reports found that still honor price matching.
Target
will match the price of qualifying items found for lower prices on Amazon and Walmart. Price matches must be requested at the time of purchase, or within 14 days of purchase. To request a price match, you’ll need to provide proof of the lower price at Guest Services in your local target store.
Best Buy
will price match most major retailers if the item is exactly the same - so same brand, same model number, and color. If you bought an item and the price drops in-store, online, or on the Best Buy app during the return and exchange period, Best Buy also says it will match the lower price upon request.
Home Depot and Ƿɱ’s
If you find a current lower price on an identical, in-stock item from any other retailer - both and say they will match the lower price, including the shipping cost.
Dick’s Sporting Goods
says it will price-match products from qualifying retailers within 14 days of purchase.
What else to know
Read the fine print on each retailer’s price matching policy. Most stores won't price match third-party sellers, such as items sold by non-Amazon sellers on Amazon. Items on super markdowns, like closeout sales, also usually don't qualify. Be sure to have proof that the item is available at a lower price somewhere else – for example, pulling up the competing retailer’s website on your phone and showing the item that way. Screenshots typically are not accepted.
