Fried chicken and waffles is a brunch classic so good that it’s nearly impossible to improve upon. But Red Lobster just raised the bar, introducing a crispy lobster and waffles dish to its menu today that's sure to delight seafood lovers everywhere. Or just biscuit fanatics.Red Lobster turned its iconic Cheddar Bay Biscuits into a waffle, giving it crispy edges and, well, a whole lot more biscuit to enjoy. As if that weren't enough, they topped it with a split Maine lobster tail that's buttermilk-battered and fried until crispy. The whole thing's drizzled with maple syrup. The Internet can't seem to reach a consensus about it though. Some are excited about this new twist on the classic brunch dish.Others are decidedly not. If you're willing to try it, Red Lobster told Thrillist that the meal should cost about $19.99 apop across the U.S., and it’ll only be around for a limited time. So really, this isn't the time for indecision: Even if you're on the fence about how you'll feel, you better get yourself to a Red Lobster before this dish disappears. (And if it's not your thing, you can always stuff yourself with baskets of the classic Cheddar Bay Biscuits.)To learn more about Red Lobster's initiative for sustainable fishing and where exactly their lobsters are coming from, watch the video above.
