Amazon is doing its part to help out busy parents - for just $20 a month, the e-retailer will send subscribers one item from its library of carefully-selected STEM. toys. The Seattle-based company promises each selection will be a "handpicked, high-quality Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math toy," according to its web page. "Each month you will receive a different, age-appropriate STEM toy that will encourage your child to learn through play. From robotics to natural sciences, there’s always a new discovery on the way," Amazon said. Subscribers are charged $19.99 a month plus taxes and can select toys tailored to their children's ages. There are three age groups available: 3-4 years, 5-7 years, and 8-13 years. Membership can be cancelled at any time and is only available in the US. The first toy will be shipped out within two days of registration, and delivery is guaranteed within one week.
