THIS IS WHAT THE FANS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ALL SEASON TO WATCH. CAITLIN CLARK, THE BEST PLAYER IN THE COUNTRY, FACE THE BEST TEAM IN THE COUNTRY, SOUTH CAROLINA. WELL, IT’S HAPPENING AND IT’S HAPPENING THIS FRIDAY IN DALLAS, WHERE WE ARE TODAY. BUT IT’S NOT JUST CAITLIN CLARK WHO CAN ATTEST FOR HOW GOOD IOWA HAS BEEN THIS SEASON. IT’S LONGEVITY OF THEIR STARTING FIVE THAT REALLY MAKES THIS VEHICLE GO WITH SNOW. IT’S VERY CLEAR THERE’S NO SECRET THAT IOWA’S BEST WEAPON IS THEIR OFFENSE AND IT’S THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY. AND MONICA ZANOTTI WAS A PLAYER WHO’S REALLY PULLING FOR THE HAWKEYES. ON TOP OF THAT, KATE MORTON’S BALL FACILITATION HAS BEEN FANTASTIC ALL SEASON. SHE’S KIND OF A SECRET KILLER THERE FOR THE HAWKEYES, MARSHAL. SHE’S THE TEAM’S THREE POINT GURU, 75% OF HER SHOTS THIS YEAR CAME FROM DEEP AND SHE HAD 38% OF THEM WERE NOT. SHE CAN DO IT ALL. SHE CAN SCORE, REBOUND, PASS. AND SHE AVERAGES 11.6 BOARDS AND TWO ASSISTS A GAME. THE EXPERIENCE IS STARTING FIVE HAS INVALUABLE AND SPEAKS VOLUMES ON THE COURT. BUT WILL EXPERIENCE GIVE ENOUGH OF A PUSH AGAINST AN UNDEFEATED DEFENSE TO RAVEN POWERHOUSE? WE HAVE FOUR SHOOTERS ON THE FLOOR AT ONCE AND I MEAN THEY’RE OBVIOUSLY VERY BIG AND THEY’RE VERY PHYSICAL, BUT WE HAVE A REALLY GREAT PERIMETER GAME AND I THINK THAT I DON’T KNOW IF THEY’VE SEEN AS GOOD AS WE HAVE BEEN. I MEAN, WHAT WE’RE NUMBER ONE IN THE COUNTRY AND OFFENSE. SO AND THEN WE HAVE KILLED CLARK. OF COURSE, WE HAVE MONICA SIMONEAU. SO WHENEVER YOU HAVE KAITLYN ON YOUR TEAM, YOU’RE NEVER OUT OF A GAME. SOUTH CAROLINA HASN’T BEEN OUT OF THE GAME ALL SEASON EITHER. THEY’VE BEEN DIALED IN. AS YOU KNOW, THEY’VE WON 42 STRAIGHT GAMES AND DON’T LOOK TO BE SLOWING DOWN ANY TIME SOON. ALICIA BOSTON IS AS GOOD AS EVER, EVEN IF HER STAT SHEET ISN’T AS GOOD AS CLARK’S. THE REASON WHY IS BECAUSE ARE SOUTH CAROLINA TEAM IS SO DEEP. COACH JOHN STALEY TALKS ABOUT HOW THE TEAM PLANS TO USE THEIR BALANCED ATTACK TO SHUT DOWN IOWA’S ENGINE. I’M NOT REALLY GOING TO TEACH THEM HOW TO BOX OUT AT THIS POINT. EITHER YOU GOT IT OR YOU DON’T. RIGHT. SHOTS UP. GETTING WAS MORE FAMILIAR WITH SOUTH CAROLINA. I THINK THAT’S THE HARDEST THING THIS TIME OF YEAR IS GETTING FAMILIAR WITH PROGRAMS THAT YOU DON’T SEE ALL THE TIME. LSU, VIRGINIA TECH FIRST AT SIX ON ESPN AND THEN WE HAVE IOWA AND SOUTH CAROLINA FOLLOWING AT 830 FROM DALLA

Make no mistake about it: the Iowa Hawkeyes are star junior Caitlin Clark's team. But without a talented supporting cast, Clark and the Hawkeyes wouldn't have reached the school's second Final Four and first since 1993. Clark, who grew up in West Des Moines and went to Dowling Catholic High School, leads the Hawkeyes in almost every major statistical category — points per game (27.3), rebounds (7.3), assists (8.6) and blocks (0.6). Senior Gabbie Marshall leads the team with 1.6 steals per game. Two others average double-digit scoring — forwards Monika Czinano (17.2 ppg) and McKenna Warnock (11.1), who also average 6.6 and 6 rebounds per game, respectively.Clark, Czinano, Marshall and guard Kate Martin have all started every game together this season. Warnock has started 34, and Molly Davis the two others.
