Iowa students excited for the school's first Final Four in 30 years

Iowa students excited for the school's first Final Four in 30 years
ON CAMPUS IS GOING CRAZY FOR ITS FIRST HAWKEYE BASKETBALL TEAM IN THE FINAL FOUR IN 30 YEARS. YOU CAN ALMOST FEEL IT IN THE AIR. THE ANTICIPATION AMONG STUDENTS LEADING UP TO A BIG GAME. IT’S EXCITING. AND THE NEXT ONE IS HUGE. IT’S A LOT OF ENERGY HERE IN IOWA CITY. I’M EXCITED FOR IT. WE’RE GOING TO GET CRAZY FRIDAY FOR SURE. SO I BOOKED A HOTEL AND WE’RE DRIVING DOWN AND I’M VERY EXCITED. WE’RE LEAVING THURSDAY NIGHT. SENIOR BRINLEY BRIGHT BOCK BOUGHT HER TICKETS MONDAY MORNING AND PLANS TO DRIVE DOWN TO DALLAS TO WATCH THE HAWKEYES COMPETE FOR A NATIONAL TITLE. WE HAVE LIKE A GROUP OF LIKE 16 PEOPLE GOING ALREADY, AND THIS HAPPENED LAST NIGHT, SO I’M SUPER EXCITED. IT’S NOT ABOUT LIKE THE FINAL FOUR. IT’S ABOUT LIKE WHAT THE TEAM IS DOING FOR WOMEN’S SPORTS, TOO. SO IT’S A BIG THING. THE IOWA WOMEN’S RUN THROUGH THE NCAA TOURNAMENT IS SOMETHING THESE HAWKEYES TAKE PRIDE IN. WHO KNOWS WHEN THEY’LL SEE SUCCESS LIKE THIS AGAIN. THE LAST TIME IOWA CITY CELEBRATED A FINAL FOUR WAS 1993, BEFORE MOST OF THESE STUDENTS WERE EVEN BORN. I MEAN, HARD NOT TO BE EXCITED ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT. YOU KNOW, YOU CAN KIND OF FEEL THE BUZZ AND THE ENERGY AND THE STUDENT BODY. THAT’S WHY NO ONE WANTS TO MISS A CHANCE TO WATCH CAITLIN CLARK IN THE HAWKEYES SHINE IN THE NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT. AND MAYBE EVEN WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP. GIVE IT YOUR ALL. WE’RE PROUD OF YOU. BRING US HOME. KEEP GOING. THAT’S WHEN THE WHOLE THING IN IOWA CITY GO. BEAU BOWMAN. vlog
