Ina Garten replaces Jeffrey with a new celebrity husband

She's going to have the most hilarious dinner parties now

We can only imagine how many tweets are directed at Ina Garten per day, but one lucky man's stream of consciousness recently caught her attention. Funny guy and Late Night host Stephen Colbert apparently has a special place in his heart for the Queen of the Hamptons and started tweeting to her in mid-March, first saying, "Hey @inagarten, saw you baked elephant ears. Thought we had plans? Had to make them alone. (easy & delicious, thanks for the recipe!)"And when that didn't garner a response, he grew bolder, writing "I'm really enjoying my copy of @inagarten's 'Cooking for Jeffrey,' but noticed there's still no release date on 'Cooking for Stephen?'"Finally, like anyone dealing with unrequited love, he got suspicious. "Hey @inagarten - you said you & Jeffrey were having a quiet night in, but I saw that your table is set for six. What's that about?"A week went by until Garten clapped back with the best response ever: a cover of her latest cookbook Cooking for Jeffrey that was photoshopped to include a new title — and a new husband.Barefoot Contessa and Colbert fans have flipped at the possibility, liking the tweet more than 2,000 times, but with Garten's new show Cook Like A Pro airing this May, we're doubting the chef has time to bust out another cookbook. The most we'll hope for is that Colbert scores a seat at her dinner table. And if that happens, Jeffrey might want to watch his back!
