Viral video sums up how frustrating it is to fold fitted sheets

We've all been there

Laundry day is pretty much just a reminder that fitted sheets are the absolute worst — or at least folding them is. Why are they so difficult to fold? There are plenty of tricks for getting the job done that are posted online, but it always seems to be a struggle regardless. And none of those tricks are quite as entertaining or as funny as one that a woman named Terri Estep Metz shared on Facebook in 2018."So, I just got my sheets out of the dryer and I always hate that because I hate folding sheets," Terri explains in a video. "But, I know everybody does, so today, I'm going to show you the easiest way ever to fold a fitted sheet."In the video, Terri first lays the fitted sheet on the floor and then, surprisingly, she gets inside it. She puts one leg in each of the bottom two corners, sits down, hooks her arms into the top two corners and lies down, like a sheet-covered starfish. "You may be happy to lay down, because you're already wore out at this point, because folding sheets is nonsense," Terri says. Honestly, agreed.Once you lie back and take a little breather, Terri explains that the next step is to roll the left side of your body onto the right side, at which point, if you follow her instructions, you'll look like a burrito. There's some tucking and rearranging of arms and legs from there, until you ultimately escape your fitted sheet cocoon, as Terri demonstrates."Bingo, baby! Is that not beautiful?" Terri exclaims as she jokingly shows off her now-folded (but clearly still messy) fitted sheet. "Shove that baby in the linen closet and be proud."In the caption, Terri quips, "Oh sheet, it's just that easy!" Easy? Well, maybe not so much. Effective? No, not really that either. But fun? Of course!
