However, a lot of viewers , and "The Long Night" cinematographer Fabian Wagner is having none of it.
Speaking after the episode aired, Wagner argued the episode isn't too dark at all and placed the blame squarely with viewers for not tuning their TVs correctly or watching the episode on iPads.
"A lot of the problem is that a lot of people don't know how to tune their TVs properly," he told .
"A lot of people also unfortunately watch it on small iPads, which in no way can do justice to a show like that anyway. Another look would have been wrong. Everything we wanted people to see is there,” Wagner said.
Despite those complaints, it seems plenty of fans were able to see enough of the action .
