Finn likes to watch TV, just like the rest of us.

Finn the "cow" (technically a steer) likes to come into the house on a regular basis and will "watch" TV, owner Amanda Smith says, but it was one movie that really caught his eye. "'Ferdinand' really captured his attention," Smith said. In a home video, Finn stands at attention, obviously able to relate to the movie's lead. The 2017 animated film starring John Cena and Kate McKinnon is about a bull misunderstood because of his size. The scene Finn was particularly interested in featured a literal bull in a china shop scenario. Smith and her family adopted Finn last year from a dairy farm in Maryland. The family has a farm in Gates County, North Carolina, with over 30 different animals, including horses, goats, chickens and much more. Smith had been raising horses all her life, but she wanted a cow ever since she was a little girl. Finn seems to be the perfect fit; at only 43 inches high, he is small enough to be both an indoor and outdoor pet."He's a part of our family, and everyone loves him. Finn is an extremely special boy. He brings me so much joy, and I'm happy to be able to share him with so many others," Smith said.In addition to the occasional movie night, Finn likes to go to the beach and will often visit schools to help educate children about farm animals. "I hope that people see that (if) even a small Jersey steer can make a difference, so can they. Everyone has a purpose," Smith said.
