Fifth-seeded Miami erased an 8-point deficit in the final 5 minutes of the game to rally back and beat the No. 12 Drake, 63-56, Friday night in Albany, New York.The Bulldogs had the lead, and the momentum, for most of the game but hit a dry spell and didn't make a field goal in the final 5 minutes, 39 seconds of game action. Missouri Valley Conference player of the year Tucker DeVries struggled in the loss, shooting 1-for-13 — he was 1-for-11 from 3-point range — and finishing with 3 points. He missed a potential game-tying three with 20 seconds to go. Darnell Brodie led Drake with 20 points and 9 rebounds.Drake led 30-25 after the first half and showed why they were a popular upset pick coming in. But Miami rallied back behind 7 steals.Nigel Pack finished with 21 points to lead Miami. Drake, the MVC Tournament champs, finishes the season at 27-8.
