March Madness 2023: Results from NCAA Tournament games in Des Moines
Madness was limited in the six 2023 NCAA Tournament games played in Des Moines.
In session one March 16 at sold-out Wells Fargo Arena, No. 1 Kansas beat No. 16 Howard, 96-68, and No. 8 Arkansas beat No. 9 Illinois, 73-63. Session two saw No. 2 Texas beat No. 15 Colgate, 73-63, and No. 10 Penn State beat No. 7 Texas A&M, 76-59.
Session three on March 18 saw No. 8 Arkansas upset No. 1 Kansas, 72-71. In game two of the night, No. 2 Texas beat No. 10 Penn State, 71-66.

Parking for the NCAA Tournament in Des Moines
Parking is available at the Iowa Events Center lot for $10. Parking is also available on the street and in parking garages.

- 3rd Street southbound from Crocker Street has been reduced to one lane
- Crocker Street closed from 3rd Street to 5th Avenue
- Court Avenue closed from 2nd Avenue to 3rd Street
