"Dog the Bounty Hunter" star Beth Chapman is battling cancer once again.Beth, who’s married to Duane “Dog” Chapman, had an emergency surgery on Monday night to clear a throat blockage, according to People. The blockage was reportedly obstructing her airway. The news comes a little over a year after the reality TV star revealed she had been diagnosed with throat cancer. Though Dog announced in November 2017 that she was cancer-free, the couple are now facing the terrifying situation once again. Their family attorney, Andrew Brettler, told Fox News that, "Unfortunately, Beth’s cancer has come back. It’s serious and her doctors are evaluating her treatment options." Their son Duane Lee told Page Six that her condition was “life-threatening” and, as of Tuesday, the family was still awaiting an update at the hospital. The couple documented her previous cancer battle with cancer on an A&E special called "Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives." According to the website, the two-hour show followed Beth and Dog from her diagnosis to her recovery. At the time, Dog also took to Facebook to ask for support from friends, fans and family. “Thank you for your healing prayers and love for Beth during this difficult time,” he wrote. After receiving her initial diagnosis, People reports that Beth shared the update with friends via a letter. “I have what is referred to as a T2 Tumor in my throat that is blocking my breathing,” she wrote. “My doctors are suggesting immediate treatment and surgery before the disease progresses.” She remained strong. As she told People later, “I knew I couldn’t let it take me over. I had to keep moving, every day, moving forward. That’s all you can do when you get a diagnosis like this. So I take it each day at a time. And I’ll fight it with all that I have.”Dog also told the outlet, “She’s very tough, and she can beat this.”
