'Mark my words, I will not let her die,' Chapman says

Duane “Dog” Chapman’s wife, Beth, is battling cancer once again, but the stars of "Dog the Bounty Hunter" aren’t giving up hope. Beth Chapman, 51, was first diagnosed years ago with throat cancer, which she beat in 2017. The couple announced her illness had returned in November 2018, and now Duane Chapman, 66, is giving an update on how the family is coping. Speaking to Daily Mail, he opened up about how they aren’t letting her reported stage four lung cancer slow them down. “I told her the other day I love you so much I’m not gonna let you die,” he said in a video with the outlet. “I stay positive and, you know, you can’t admit defeat, you just cannot. I have to stay strong.”Along with their son Leland, the Chapmans have continued to film for the WGN show, "Dog’s Most Wanted," which premieres in May. “Beth is there, my son Leland is there, we’re all together a team the family out there, we don’t think about nothin' but that,” he said. And despite her dedication to treatment — she’s reportedly seeking a “different” method than chemotherapy — there’s nowhere Beth Chapman would rather be than on the job, surrounded by her loved ones. “She has told me repeatedly that if these are her last days on earth she wants to spend every moment with me on the hunt, living life to the fullest and enjoying the time we have left together,” Duane Chapman said. He added, “Mark my words, I will not let her die.”
