THIS AFTERNOON. 1:00 AMERICAN AIRLINES FLIGHT FROM DES MOINES TO D.C. IS ALSO CANCELED. THERE AREN’T ANY OTHER FLIGHTS SCHEDULED TO GO TO D.C. FROM DES MOINES FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. AND RIGHT NOW, CREWS ARE ALSO WORKING TO FIX A WATER MAIN BREAK AT THE DES MOINES AIRPORT. THE AIRPORT FIRST REPORTED ISSUES AROUND 6:00 THIS MORNING. THERE ARE GOING TO BE LIMITED RESTROOMS OPEN FOR PASSENGERS ON THE CONCOURSE, SO PLAN AHEAD IF YOU’RE FLYING TODAY. YOU CAN STILL ACCESS FOOD AND DRINK AT MILL

A water main break has disrupted some services Friday at the Des Moines International Airport. According to a message posted on the airport's website just before 6 a.m., "food, beverage, and restroom facilities are temporarily unavailable on Concourse A and Concourse C," once passengers pass through security.Officials say other restrooms are available at the airport, as are vending machines and other limited food and beverages."Our teams are working diligently to address the situation and provide accommodations," they posted on X.
