BY SATURDAY. A YOUNG OWL WAS RESCUED AFTER STRONG STORMS HIT OUR STATE LAST NIGHT. A GOOD SAMARITAN FOUND THE CREATURE ALONG HIGHWAY 30, IN CLINTON COUNTY IN FAR EASTERN IOWA. LOOK AT THIS LITTLE GUY. THE COUNTY CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT POSTED THIS PICTURE. OH, YOU CAN SEE HE’S JUST KIND OF STUNNED AND SHAKEN AND JUST TOTALLY DISORIENTED. THEY SAY THE OWL IS JUST AT THE STAGE IN LIFE WHERE IT WAS JUST BEGINNING TO VENTURE OUT OF THE NEST. BOY. THE BIRD WAS TAKEN IN BY A REHABILITATION GROUP IN IOWA CITY, WHICH INTENDS TO RETURN IT TO THE WILD IN CLINTON COUNTY AS
