It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Amy Kaji, MD, PhD, a brilliant physician and biostatistician who made significant contributions to JAMA Surgery since 2015 as a Statistical Editor and editorial board member. Amy鈥檚 expertise, dedication, and passion for the field were invaluable assets to the journal. Amy was not only a colleague but also a friend to many.
