Father: Oh. It's supposed to be a three-way discussion.

Mother: (Talking at the same time) What did you want to say, Ann?

Daughter: I don't want to say something but . . .

Father: But what . . .

Daughter: You know what we said before about...

Father: I'm not speaking about you. I'm talking in general.

Daughter: I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about...

Mother: That you interfered while she was trying to say something.

Father: Well, I'm supposed to be in this discussion too.

Daughter: Of course you are.

Father: But you want to leave me out.
