Being asked to review a book like David Weedon's Skin Pathology is really like receiving a present. Having used the previous edition extensively and knowing how bright and clever Weedon is, for me it was a foregone conclusion that this book would be bigger and better. And it is! There were even additional soft clues. Many friends in the United States e-mailed me, asking if I had seen the "new Weedon." A final auspicious sign; the first printing of this new edition was sold out overnight and my copy bears the mark "reprinted 2002"—just about the kindest words an author can read.
