Color Atlas & Synopsis of Pediatric Dermatology

Arch Dermatol. 2003;139(2):235. doi:10.1001/archderm.139.2.235-b

Color Atlas & Synopsis of Pediatric Dermatology is a multiauthored first-edition text that was modeled after Fitzpatrick's Color Atlas & Synopsis of Clinical Dermatology. First author Kay Kane was trained by Dr Fitzpatrick and inspired to write several "précis" (succinct summaries of the major features of a disease) during her residency. She is now a well-known pediatric dermatologist at Boston Children's Hospital and shares her précis with us through this text.

This softcover color atlas offers clinicians up-to-date information on the diagnosis of skin disorders and systemic diseases with skin manifestations in children and adolescents. The text is user friendly and organized into 25 sections. A comprehensive alphabetized index at the end allows for quick reference.
