Exploration of the umbilical tract revealed a persistent urachal fistula. The fistula and both umbilical arteries were ligated at the level of the bladder dome. The procedure was completed without complications, and the patient was discharged in excellent condition. Histopathologic examination with hematoxylin-eosin staining showed an absence of epidermis over the exophytic polyp (Figure 2). The polyp consisted of gut mucosa, which suggested mucosa of the small intestine (Figure 3). Erosion of villi made it impossible to determine the exact origin of the polyp, which could also have originated in the stomach or duodenum mucosa.
