A 27-year-old man is presented with a dermatosis of 1戮 years duration.At the beginning of 1962 a brown patch appeared on the left flexor surface of the arm. Since then new lesions have appeared on the back and arms. Old lesions are enlarging and new ones are appearing up to the present time. They are asymptomatic.Bilateral, symmetrical brown patches of various sizes and shapes are located as above. The borders of the lesions are sharply defined and under oblique light, the "clift drop" phenomenon can be noted. The epidermis is normal and no induration is palpated. There is no inflammatory border.A skin biopsy was consistent with idiopathic atrophoderma of Pasini and Pierini.No treatment has been given.Point of presentation: Interesting case.
