The consolidation of the New York Medical Journal and the Philadelphia Medical Journal was most fitting and in perfect harmony with the high ideals and methods of which they were both such able exponents. We congratulate the readers on the concentration of resources, which cannot help but furnish them the "cream" of medical thought, and we congratulate the united journals in having as editor such a Nestor of medical journalism as Dr. Frank P.
