This 2018 US Preventive Services Task Force guideline recommends exercise to prevent falls in community-dwelling adults 65 years or older at increased fall risk (B recommendation), that patients and clinicians consider the balance of benefits and harms based on prior falls, comorbid conditions, and patient values and preferences (C recommendation), and recommends against vitamin D supplementation to prevent falls in community-dwelling adults 65 years or older (D recommendation).
