In the Review article entitled 鈥淭reatment of Venous Thromboembolism鈥� published in the February 19, 2014, issue of JAMA (2014;311[7]:717-728. doi:10.1001/jama.2014.65), a heading was misplaced. The heading 鈥淰ena Cava Filters鈥� should have appeared above the paragraph that begins 鈥淩etrievable or permanent inferior vena cava filters may be used 鈥�.鈥� Additionally, in the seventh line of the third paragraph on page 721, the word 鈥減roximal鈥� should have been 鈥渄istal鈥� so as to read 鈥溾�� distal DVT patients rarely develop proximal DVT 鈥�.鈥� This article was corrected online.
