Earlier this week, the Dallas Zoo of one of their male gorillas, Zola, exhibiting "play behaviors" while he cooled off in a pool.
According to the zoo, Zola's enrichment therapy "helps enhance the environment and lives of animals ... by providing them with mental and physical stimulation to increase natural behaviors."
"Enrichment can take many forms, but for this spunky great ape, it means playing and spinning in his favorite blue pool!"
The clip of Zola spinning in circles caught the attention of a lot of people all over the internet, including Bob Hagh, a Video Editor at the Star-Telegram in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Hagh quickly into an homage, and set Zola's moves to the same song Jennifer Beals danced her heart out to the '80s classic "Flashdance."
"The first song that immediately popped into my head was "Maniac," Hagh said, explaining why he chose to enhance the Dallas Zoo's viral clip.
"I wanted to add that touch to the video for some fun and had no intentions of having it spread. I'm a very upbeat and positive person so I made something that not only I can enjoy, but ultimately others."
And boy, did they enjoy it! His tweet has already been retweeted over 32,000 times and counting, while many others have been sharing the video expressing how much they loved it.
