CUTS AND RESIGNATION OFFERS. THE YMCA OF GREATER DES MOINES RECEIVED A $5,000 CHECK TODAY AS PART OF THE STATE TREASURER’S GREAT IOWA TREASURE HUNT. THE PROGRAM REUNITES IOWANS WITH LOST OR FORGOTTEN MONEY. SINCE STARTING THE PROGRAM BACK IN 1983. THE TREASURER’S OFFICE SAYS IT HAS RETURNED MORE THAN $395 MILLION TO ITS RIGHTFUL OWNERS. THE YMCA SAYS THE RETURNED FUNDS IT RECEIVED TODAY WILL MAKE A HUGE IMPACT IN THE COMMUNITY. SO THE PROCEEDS WILL GO TO HELP US GIVE ACCESS TO OTHER PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITY SO THEY CAN HAVE A YMCA MEMBERSHIP.
