Diana Zepeda, of Washington, D.C., says she initially thought her stomach pains were due to an unhealthy diet. But even after cutting out grains, dairy and sugar for an entire month, the symptoms grew worse. Three months later, a doctor tried treating her for food poisoning, but the antibiotics didn't help.
