Have you ever peered into a dumpster and seen a raccoon or an opossum?
What about a family of bears?
That's what happened to a woman in Connecticut.
Emily Maurer says she was leaving work on the evening of April 11 when she spotted a single bear in a dumpster in Avon, Connecticut. She hopped in her car and started recording with her phone.
Within seconds, a second bear appeared.
And then another.
And another.
In all, four black bears climbed out of the dumpster. They didn't seem to mind her as she watched from the safety of her car. Each of the bears gave her a glance and then went on their way.
