Stage 4 breast cancer isn't slowing down Duncan Finigan anytime soon.Finigan is the mother of four and a marketing professional who has completed multiple marathons. Now, she's raising money to fight breast cancer any way possible. Her mission started four years ago when she was diagnosed during a routine exam."I said, 'Am I going to die?,' and he (the doctor) said, 'No, you're not going to die,'" Finigan said. "He said, 'We have a lot of solutions today and more through research. The only thing holding us back is fundraising for research.'"Since then, Finigan's cycling team has raised $1,840,000 for cancer research. She's also walked runways and participated in other fundraising efforts, never missing a chance to share her message."I feel like probably more good in my life that's come out of getting cancer than maybe some of the disruptions it's made in my life," Finigan said. "And I think if we keep raising money, maybe the cure will come while I'm still here."
