Actor who plays Mr. Feeny from 'Boy Meets World' stops real burglary

91-year-old actor William Daniels saved his house from would-be burglar

Actor William Daniels, best known as Mr. Feeny in "Boy Meets World," stopped a burglar from stealing from his home over the weekend. According to Los Angeles' ABC affiliate, the burglar forced open a back door of Daniels' house around 9:30 p.m. When Daniels and his 89-year-old-wife Bonnie Bartlett overheard the intrusion, Daniels acted fast and flicked the lights on to scare the burglar away and avoid any confrontation. The LAPD doesn't think the couple was targeted and no one was hurt. Even Eric Matthews (Will Friedle) knows Mr. Feeny is not one to be trifled with. "Luckily, Mr. Daniels was able to frighten away the person and the LAPD quickly responded," the "St. Elsewhere" actor's publicist said in a statement to ABC7. "They are both well. Mr. Daniels thanks all his fans for their concern."
