If your company furloughs you and you apply for unemployment, can you then work part time while getting unemployment? Yeah, you know, it depends on the state, but as long as your part time job is less than your unemployment benefit, she should be good to go. And still qualified for unemployment also depends on the type of furlough, right? Some furloughs are extended. Summer, just a week at a time definitely needs toe check her state. She might actually want to talk to her hr professional at her main employer. That person could shed some light on the situation as well. Staying on the topic of unemployment, Abby Kelner has a question she wants to know now that we no longer need to request the payments every week. How do we go about letting the FTE? Oh no, we have begun to be paid again. I was furloughed for two weeks and have since been notified by my company that our paychecks will be resuming. Yeah, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity sounds very exciting, but here's what it is. It's a It's a little bit of chaotic situation right now. It's automatic, right? Nothing you need to do beyond the state benefits that 600 bucks will come. That's a great point, Jeff. You do have to apply over state benefits whether you require a weight. Rather you ah ah, qualify for not. But it's through the state that that $600 is paid. Sobeih. So what I'm saying is it's it's automatic. Once you apply for the state benefit, you are correct.
