BUT SOME VOTERS ALSO CALL THEM FLAWED CANDIDATES IN A RAZOR CLOSE RACE, WHICH WILL BE DECIDED IN BATTLEGROUND STATES SUCH AS PENNSYLVANIA. THURSDAY’S DEBATE IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR BOTH CANDIDATES TO SEIZE THE MOMENT. IT’S ONLY JUNE, BUT THE FIRST PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE IS JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS AWAY. IT COULD SET A TONE FOR AN ELECTION. POLLS SHOW IT IS A TOSS UP. VOTERS AT THE NEPTUNE DINER WEIGHED IN ON WHETHER THEY’LL WATCH. I JUST NEED TO HEAR AND SEE WHAT WHAT’S GOING ON? I NEED I NEED TO GET AN UPDATE. YES. I’M INTERESTED. MOST DEFINITELY. IS. EVERYONE ELSE IN MY LIFE IS GOING TO WATCH THEM, AND I DON’T REALLY WANT IT ON IN THE HOUSE WITH HER BECAUSE SHE’S FOUR AND POLITICIANS HAVEN’T BEEN BEHAVING THEMSELVES VERY WELL. DIANA ROSS SAYS SHE IS INTERESTED, THOUGH, IN THE ELECTION AND PLANS TO VOTE. DEFINITELY I’LL BE VOTING FOR BIDEN. HER BIG ISSUES, ANYTHING RELATED TO WOMEN’S RIGHTS BECAUSE I THINK THEY’RE BEING VERY MUCH TAKEN AWAY. THIS DINER SUPPORTS TRUMP. SHE’S GOING TO KEEP US SAFE. HIS BIGGEST CONCERN THE BORDER. I DIDN’T KNOW HIM. THAT’S A BIG ONE. THE ECONOMY IS IMPORTANT. I WOULD SAY CLIMATE IS IMPORTANT TO ME. I’M INTERESTED IN FOREIGN AFFAIRS. I THINK UKRAINE WOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED. THE CANONS ARE SPLIT ON WHO THEY’RE BACKING, JUST LIKE MANY OTHER VOTERS IN KEY BATTLEGROUND STATES SUCH AS PENNSYLVANIA. I’M A TRUMPER. I DON’T LIKE HIS PERSONALITY, BUT THE FOUR YEARS OF HIS POLICIES, I THINK, HELPED MIDDLE AMERICA MORE THAN THE OTHER SIDE EVER HAVE. I’M PROBABLY GOING TO VOTE FOR BIDEN AND YOU CAN SEE THERE MEN SUPPORTING TRUMP, WOMEN GOING FOR BIDEN, THOSE VOTERS TELL ME THE DEBATE PROBABLY WILL NOT CHANGE THEIR MINDS, BUT THEY THINK IT IS ALL ABOUT THE SWING VOTERS, TH

Instead, the campaigns struck a deal to participate in two debates sponsored by two news networks: CNN’s June debate and ABC News’ Sept. 10 debate.
