The weird thing you never noticed about airports (that makes you spend more money)
You won't be able to un-see this next time you fly!
You won't be able to un-see this next time you fly!
You won't be able to un-see this next time you fly!
When traveling, have you ever wondered what's behind all the no entry doors, how do all the bags make it to the right plane, and why do all airport corridors slope slightly to the left?
You may not have even thought about that last one, because really, why would you - but once you think about it, you won't be able to un-see it the next time you're waiting in a terminal.
According to consulting company , the airport curve is real - and it's there for a reason.
"More sales are generated if a walkway curves from right to left with more merchandise and space on the right side because passengers are looking right while (perhaps unconsciously) walking left," reports.
Basically, because most of us are right-handed, we instinctively will look to the right while we're walking to the left and probably buy more things.
