Oh, showtime the bride, wearing a lovely white gown, walked down through the bleachers. Once greeted by the groom, they walked hand in hand up the plaza stage. But wait, this is no show this is the real thing. Tim smith of cedar rapids and lisa d High of Pleasantville Got married today at the fair we met here, figures could have been a better place. I didn't think there was any way. But then as I started thinking about that boy, that would be really neat. So the more I thought about it, the more I liked it. Tim and lisa both met here three years ago. Now they work in the grandstands during the fair. Unfortunately, one minute before the ceremony was set to begin, the rain started coming down hard. You could say truthfully, there wasn't a dry eye in the place. Somebody said it's good luck if it rains on your wedding day. So we'll see. I wish it would have been dry, but I'm just as happy. Couldn't have ruined my dave stay here. We're not coming out there. But they did finally go out in the rain, not off to their honeymoon. That will come later, but back out to work at the Iowa State Fair Wife.
