Gatorade announced Katie Dinnebier of Waukee High School as its 2020-21 Gatorade Iowa Girls Basketball Player of the Year.Dinnebier is the first Gatorade Iowa Girls Basketball Player of the Year to be chosen from Waukee High School. Dinnebier averaged 19.1 points, 4.0 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game, converting 45.7 percent of her 3-point attempts while maintainig a 4.06 GPA. A two-time First Team All-State honoree, she was also named Miss Iowa Basketball.
