After a wallaby spent the night on the run from a Simpsonville, South Carolina, petting zoo where he escaped with his partner, the animal was found safe Friday, officials said.The marsupials escaped Thursday from the Nights of Lights petting zoo at the CCNB Amphitheater at Heritage Park in Simpsonville, which is about 14 miles outside of Greenville, South Carolina.The animals were on loan from Udora Farms, in Salley, South Carolina, officials said.One of the wallabies, Creed, was captured Thursday, but his partner in crime, Sylvester, eluded capture overnight, despite a search by the Simpsonville Police Department.Sylvester was found near the park outside The Settlement subdivision off Fowler Road, officials said.Before the second wallaby was found, a camera from Fowler Security Systems recorded video of the animal hopping across a Simpsonville yard."Both Creed and Sylvester have been found and are back home," officials with the petting zoo posted to social media Friday about 11:30 a.m., along with photos of the two escape artists. "Thank you to everyone who called and helped out."
