I never thought my perfectly healthy daughter would die from Covid. Nicole and Jeff Sperry say their 10 year old daughter, Teresa was full of love and compassion. They say she was healthy throughout her life, but sadly died monday from complications related to Covid 19 she was healthy. She never had more than just a simple cold. She was active, she would go out and she was learning how to roller skate And I was going to buy a roller skates for Christmas and that's not gonna happen now. Theresa was 1/5 grader at Hill Point Elementary School in Suffolk. The sister to three brothers and a happy person. She was just the type of friend that you always want to have. No matter what, no matter who you are. Her parents say. It started with a headache, Wednesday september 22nd. That turned into a fever and a really nasty cough. Along the way she tested positive for Covid. On monday, they say it appeared she stopped breathing at home. She was taking a santero Bc in Suffolk and then transferred to see Hkt where her heart stopped. Her mom says Medics tried to bring her back to life for 30 minutes. I had to leave her finger. No parent should have to go through that. Her parents wanted to share her story because they have a message for others. It's a simple thing where the mats get vaccinated, care about everybody else. Her father now has Covid himself as they're all quarantining before. They can plan a funeral. I just want to make sure people know that my daughter was a beautiful, loving, caring person. And if it can happen to her, it can happen to anybody and I don't want this to happen to anybody else. And the family says they never expected to have to pay for a funeral for a 10 year old.
