A camera at the KARCO gas station in Kennett Square was recording when the tree gave way on Monday. The white SUV, which had just stopped, was directly in the path.
The tree struck the roof just over the back seat, smashing it. The upper reaches of the tree landed in the gas station parking lot and shattered into pieces.
Seconds after the tree hits the SUV, the driver's side door opens and a woman gets out. She walks away from the ruined vehicle and talks to another driver who was in front of her, waiting at a traffic light.
Kennett Square, located in the Delaware Valley, is a suburb of Philadelphia.
