EACH HOME GAME BETWEEN THE FIRST AND SENDCO QUARTERS FANS AND PLAYERS TURNED AND WAVED TO THE CHILDREN INSIDE THE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL. THE UNIVERSITY WANTS TO PLAY A NEW SONG TO ACCOMPANY THE WAVE. The University of Iowa is looking to make a change to the traditional Kinnick Wave. The Kinnick Wave happens each home game between the first and second quarters. During that time, fans and players turn and wave to the children at UofI's Stead Family Children's hospital.The University is now looking for a new song to accompany the wave.Currently, the Pat Green song "Wave on Wave" is used. But the University felt it was time for Hawkeye fans to help choose the song.Related: More news:
