"I'm thankful for the support of our President, Dr. Wintersteen and our Athletics Director, Jamie Pollard," Otzelberger said in a release announcing the extension. "My family and I love Iowa State University, and the community, and are happy to continue calling it home. Our fan base is second-to-none and we value their continued support as we continue this journey together."The terms of the deal have not been announced.Otzelberger isn't the only Cyclone head coach sticking around for the long haul.Iowa State announced an extension last week through 2032 for head football coach Matt Campbell. The Cyclone football program record its first 10-win season in 2024 and will play for an 11th win in the Pop Tarts bowl vs. Miami later this month.
