Should you be a fan of true crime stories, chances are you've seen the Netflix documentary series "Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes" and have heard about the release of "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile," starring Zac Efron as Ted Bundy. With all the hype surrounding the case with the release of the long-anticipated Netflix docuseries and upcoming film, "murder tourists" are flocking to Bundy's old home in Salt Lake City, Utah, to check it out — and the current tenants are far from thrilled. It seems people want to take photos of the Salt Lake City home where the serial killer lived while attending law school roughly 15 years before he was given the death penalty for confessing to the murders of 30 women — though some experts believe he killed more than 100 people in the 1980s. TMZ reports some homeowners are sick of the constant barrage of people at their doors, invading their privacy. "Some people simply want to take photos of the outside," a current tenant relayed to INSIDER. "But others intrude on the tenants' privacy by poking around the grounds to look at the fire escape, which he used to come and go in secret."The website reports Bundy lived at the house from 1974 to 1975, during which time he lived in Room 2 of the five-room complex. It has since been renamed to Room 5.Though visitors once used to stop by the home around Halloween, tenants revealed it's now a regular ordeal and it's becoming a nuisance.
