There are a few condiments we'd bet everyone has in their kitchen: Mayo, mustard and the ultimate French fry partner-in-crime, ketchup. Even though the first two are always kept tightly packed into one's fridge, for some reason people are split on if this tomato-based sauce should be kept cool or in the pantry. Twitter users have some strong opinions and are bound and determined to figure out the proper placement for this condiment — while sharing some strong words to sway people to their side. "Reducing these preservatives makes cold storage a must." In other words, since salt is a natural preservative and years ago ketchup used to contain way more of it, it was safe to stash in your cupboard. But today, keeping ketchup in a chilled location will help it last longer. So there you have it. Plus there's nothing better than the contrast of a hot fry and some cold sauce if you ask us.
