MEADOWS, AND IT IS SOLD OUT. PROPERTY IN THE FORMER STEER AND STEIN LOCATION AT THE IOWA STATE FAIRGROUNDS IS BEING AUCTIONED OFF ONLINE STARTING TOMORROW. THE PREVIOUS OPERATOR OF STEER AND STEIN WAS NOT INVITED BACK AFTER HE WAS ACCUSED OF VIOLATING CONTRACTUAL AND OPERATIONAL STANDARDS. IOWA STATE FAIR CEO JEREMY PARSONS SAYS KNM ADVERTISING HAS OUTSTANDING DEBT WITH THE FAIR. THE SPACE WILL BE TAKEN OVER BY BLUE RIBBON BAR AND EATERY. Property in the former Steer 'N' Stein location at the Iowa State Fairgrounds is being auctioned off online starting Friday.The previous operator of Steer 'N' Stein was not invited back after he was accused of violating contractual and operational standards. The space will be taken over by Blue Ribbon Bar and Eatery. Iowa State Fair CEO Jeremy Parsons says K & M Advising has outstanding debt with the Fair. Proceeds from the auction will first go toward settling that outstanding debt. If there are any funds left over after the debt is settled, they will be returned to K & M Advising.The auction went live at 10 a.m. Friday and can be found online here.
